We know that for a big production to be successful, everything has to be slick and professionally run. Front-of-house and behind the scenes—from the cloakrooms and kitchen, to the chauffeurs and the cleaning.
Which is why we set up meticulous schedules; why we plan every detail in advance, whether that’s the crockery or the car parking; why we keep a close eye on the weather (always with a contingency plan up our sleeves); why our venues are immaculate before and after the event.
We can also bring in any additional staff you may require, from security personnel to lifeguards, paramedics and traffic marshals. We can even arrange children’s crêches, if necessary.

Event Transport and Travel Management
We can arrange transport for any number of clients, from a variety of pickup points around the UK. This might be a fleet of limousines for a bridal party. A minibus to take staff to a conference. A helicopter to deliver VIPs to Ascot. A fleet of black cabs to deliver London delegates to their hotels at the end of the evening. Or an executive dining coach, complete with a hostess to serve champagne and canapés en route, or breakfast on the way to a morning conference. No job is too big or too small!
Event Security
Whether it’s a bodyguard you need for a VIP, or a team of security men to secure a venue, we can offer a range of staff to suit every occasion. Security is paramount for us at events, which is why the site will be guarded 24 hours a day from the moment we start production to the minute we finish the clear-up. Staff are trained to the Security Industry Authority licence standards, and many hold qualifications in personal, venue and vehicle search techniques, first aid, protestor extraction and conflict management. As with all our staff, discretion and confidentiality are assured.
Event Traffic Monitoring
Monitoring and keeping traffic flowing is vital at large venues—not only to ensure guests arrive safely and unstressed, but to ensure the venue is kept pristine from the arrival of the first marquee van to the departure of the last cleaner.
Our marshals will keep traffic flowing, direct cars into secure parking and, at the end of the evening, help guests to find their cars. Keeping stress levels—and mess—to a minimum.
Event Logistics
When we take on an event, we don’t just organise the glamorous part. We manage every step from start to finish. From day one, we will have security and event management staff on the ground, building metal tracks through fields to provide access and protect the land, directing suppliers, scheduling set-builders, positioning generators, WCs and kitchens, and, at the very end, ensuring every last bit of litter has been removed, and the site is left pristine.
Meeting and greeting your guests
Guests flying in from all over the world? Delegates to be picked up from venues all over the country? Southern Promotions can facilitate Meet and Greet services for hundreds of people travelling to the same event, collecting them from homes, hotels and offices, and delivering them to a central venue.
